Because everyone from janitors to my old Earth Science tutor has their own "valid" opinion on what transpired between the Duke lacrosse players and the stripper, Wall Street Journal columnist Naomi Schaeffer Riley sets the cause back a few decades with her April piece: "Ladies, You Should Know Better: How feminism wages war on common sense."
In regards to murdered John Jay College student Imette St. Guillen, Schaffer Riley wrote, "Ms. St. Guillen was last seen in a bar, alone and drinking at 3 a.m. on the Lower East Side of Manhattan... more than a few of us have been thinking that a 24-year-old woman should know better."
Getting brutally raped and murdered is just what those bubbleheaded bitches deserve for "having no common sense" and "acting like morons."
Here's what I think: I believe that getting blind drunk and showing your boobs to the "bra inspector" (there's no such thing!) or showing a room full of dudes that you can take your thong off over your head is a really bad idea. High school girls, college girls, grad school girls, adult women, etc... need to watch out for themselves. And let's not be Pollyannas here. Girls shouldn't drink alone or let their friends wander off with strange dudes. Because bad things can happen. But blaming the girl for making herself a "target" is fucking pathetic. This kind of woman-hating bullshit is disgusting. Guys who get wasted and lose self-control are not to be blamed because that's their nature but women who make poor choices deserve to get raped?
Are you for fucking real, Naomi Shaeffer Riley?
