Brandeis University was briefly in a tizzy on what to do with the $50 that stingy alumnus Jack Abramoff donated to the school in 2002.
Hoot reporter Alex Levine recommends that Brandeis do like all the other black-listed corporations and groups that took kickbacks and hide that cash!
He suggests dividing the money among all the students (that's $.16 per student), pornography in the Student Services Center and a less sensitive sprinkler system. More ideas...
Also, it's always a Jewish conspiracy...
Thanks Jeff, for the tip...
"Also, it's always a Jewish conspiracy..."
Your attempt to be breathy and provocative instead comes across as glib or even insulting. What did you mean by "Jewish conspiracy?" I can't tell if you're trying to make fun of anti-Semites' attitudes toward the Abramoff scandal or whether you just plain didn't think through what you meant in using that phrase.
While I'm delighted that you've linked to my post on Abramoff, my post deals with Abramoff's Brandeis years but has nothing to do with what your statement implies.
It's nice when people are both humorous, provocative AND accurate.
BTW, I've linked my name in this comment to another post which features reminiscences of Abramoff's Brandeis roommate.

Oh, get over yourself, Mr. Richard Silverstein. Have you noticed that this is a HUMOR site? I mean, it's obvious that Lindsay was humorously referencing the widespread perception of a global Jewish conspiracy, which (whether you'd like to acknowledge it or not) your little blog post indirectly referenced. If you can't see the humor in that, then you're gonna have to remove your Jewish head from your Jewish ass immediately. She's not "glib" or "insulting", she's "smart" and "funny"...

Mr. Silverstein,
Thank you for your comment. I’ve given it a lot of thought and I may have indeed been too glib with the use of the phrase “Jewish conspiracy.” I was making a head-shaking comment on the fact that the media (and bloggers) have eagerly jumped all over the Jewish angle of this sordid story. Since I’m a Jew (which I reveal in earlier posts) I assumed readers would understand my tongue-in-cheek use of the phrase.
Perhaps I should have taken more time to explain what I meant but my message in a nutshell was this: criminality is criminality, Jewish or not.
